QualCoder 3.7
I finally managed to get time to make a video showing the main functions of the 3.7 release.
I hope to add a second video a bit later showing additional features with this version.
I added another video using QualCoder 3.7. In this video I do some coding with the artificial intelligence enabled. I also show some hidden menu options in Code Text (and this uncovered an error I have to fix later also). I also look at the ode relations report.

Sepp Meyer has developed Docker code to have an alternative way to run QualCoder through a webbrowser.
I have not tried out out, and am interested to see comments on its use, but it might be a way especially for the various Linux distributions to run QualCoder.

QualCoder 3.5
I have finally managed to make a video for the 3.5 version of QualCoder. I am using the Window exe for this video. The Windows exe has a flaw with the Audio/Video coded segments – the context menu does not display (for playing, editing deleting coded A/V segments). This does not occur with the manual install method, and in the next 3.6 version I will add extra workaround for this issue.
The video covers how to create a project and using files, cases and journals, as well as coding and creating reports. It does not cover audio/video transcription and a couple of other features.

One of the considerations in adopting and open-source free program is usability and whether it has the same essential features as popular commercial tools.
This workshop will look at QualCoder and compare it with these commercial programs on ten dimensions (1) installation and customization; (2) supported files/data types; (3) workspace, project, file and data management; (4) cases and files classification; (5) memos, annotations and journals; (6) coding (manual, auto and AI assisted); (7) visualization; (8) analysis, querying and reporting; (9) collaboration; and (10) converting to/from other qualitative data analysis tools.

You need to extract the data in QualCoder and export to a csv file. The data source is from the menu Reports > Database queries. Then in the list on the side: Default Queries > GET CODING TABLE
Adding the Gemini AI engine to QualCoder. This youtube from Lorenzo is spoken in Spanish. It has texts in multiple languages. Short and fairly easy to follow.
